I think this is very possibly one of the sexiest pictures I have drawn ever. What do you guys think? Look at that LONG BLACK MANE. Look at that INTENSE RED EYE. Yeah ... It's Vincent Valentine again. I manage to draw him even when I'm not drawing him. Anyway, I feel this is a very nice companion picture with Stare, which is why I was going to title it Gaze. And then I remembered I have another picture titled Gaze already, and I thought about changing it, but then I thought "The Look" fit this one better. I don't know ... What do you guys think? I'm pretty lame with titles most of the time, but I think "The Look" is appropriate. And the quotation marks. Those are appropriate too.

I think I've seriously managed to make this horse look like Vincent Valentine. I may be insane, but to me he looks exactly like him. Actually, it was a cut-scene from Dirge of Cerberus that inspired me to draw him as a horse. (FF VII Dirge of Cerberus - 28 - Survivor) Again, I may be crazy, but in that particular scene, the way he stands and the way he breathes and the way he blinks so frickin' slowly ... When I saw it, all I could think was that it was the human version of the way a horse looks at you from a distance. (But, then again, I love horses and have all my life, so it's kind of ingrained in me.) And then a couple nights ago this image came to me (not THIS image) of a blood bay horse, and I'm thinking "What the hell ... ?" before I reali ... God, I'm going off on a tangent. Anyway, I may draw that image that flashed in my mind's eye next. It was pretty cool, really, if I can reproduce it. Oh, and that reminds me -- no ref used here, except of a picture of Vincent's eye to make sure I got it right.

I LOVE this picture. And, I think I kind of exaggerated that shoulder. I did that on purpose -- thought it would look good -- though I may have overdone it a bit.
