My eyes burn. But it's totally worth it, because I think this is perhaps my most epic creation to date.

Started this back in September for Breathless-dk's "Four Elements" contest. (Visit my TUMBLR here to see some screenshots I took during the process.) A LOT of planning went into this from the very beginning. Just picking out what images to use was a mighty effort. I have put countless hours into this thing. xD But I think it's been worth it. I think it turned out pretty sweet.

I was inspired to do my own horsey version of the three chimes (Reechani, Sentrosi and Vasi; water, fire, and air) in Terry Goodkind's Sword of Truth series. (Awesome series, I highly recommend to any fantasy lover, or anyone who reads books, really. They're ~awesome~.) Without revealing too much, they're elementals that harness their respective element to do "extravagant harm," as mentioned in the excerpt from the book. Hence the reason the ponies look a little bit creepy. xD

I'm especially pleased with how Sentrosi came out. Yay for fire~! He actually started out as Reechani -- water -- but mykl3 suggested I make him fire. It was a good suggestion.
