is holding a contest, the theme is to design a foal for her characters. It hasn't got any entries, which is really a shame. It was REAL fun designing a colt for these neat-colored horses. I actually thought quite deeply about it. Here's my logic behind the colors:
Ismati has a light blue body, and darker blue mane and tail. So, if she were a normal-colored horse, that could translate to a blue roan (any roan, really, but since she's blue I thought blue roan was most appropriate). Jabbar has a light orange body, and red mane and tail, which could translate to a chestnut. So I imagined what would happen if a blue roan and a chestnut were bred. In this case I decided it would result in a bay or bay roan-- the foal getting his black base color from his mother, and the agouti gene from his father, restricting the black to his points and making him a bay. Of course, a bay foal wouldn't have his dark points yet, but I decided to illustrate them here anyway. If he were a roan, he would also have a darker head. I'll leave it up to ~Chrisalis42 to develop him to her liking. The name I have in mind for him is Zain, Arabic for "grace and beauty." I thought I'd keep with the Arabic name theme, considering the parents' names. I hope you like him! And sorry about cutting off their legs. xD
And to my watchers who know about the troubles I've been having with my wrist, I do think it is getting better. I went most of yesterday without wearing my brace, as a test run to see how it's doing, and it didn't bother me hardly at all. I'm wearing my brace now just in case, but I do think it's on the mend. So yay!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
