My God. I'm sick of drawing faces, but I wanted so badly to draw Vincent Valentine (of Final Fantasy VII) yet again. I decided three in a row were enough for right now, so instead I drew this crappy sketch of myself. Yeah. Ain't I manly looking? I've been lifting. I kind of like this, even though it's really not very good technically. It really only bears a passing resemblance to the model. Anyway, those familiar with Vincent Valentine know that there lives within him a demon that goes by the name of Chaos, which to me is all kinds of intriguing. While I was thinking about how bitchin' a character he is and how much I want his CLOAK, I remembered this song off of Youthanasia and got inspired to make this drawing. So instead of surfing the net forever for a ref photo, I grabbed my red headband (actually it's just a strip of cloth), ran in the bathroom, and took lots of photos of myself, using the band to conveniently hide my identity. And, like always, the first photo was the best. My hair looked flippin' amazing -- it was all curly n' crap -- but I'm too lazy to really work on it right now. Plus I thought it might ruin the mood ... Maybe I'll make an "Addicted to Chaos II" with more detail. Again, the selective red coloring. A good piece to put next to Stare for that very reason. I think it's safe to say now that I've adopted Vincent as one of my muses/alter-egos/voices in my head. Anyway, expect a couple horses next as a break from humans as I retreat hurriedly back into my comfort zone.
